AIPTEK seriously takes care for the protection of the consumer and operates a consistent quality management. Recently we discovered that in some very few cases of the digital photo frame “Picasso DVB-T”, which was sold from November 2008, an overheating of the internal battery occurred and therefore there is the risk of a fire respectively of a deformation of the display. The concerned battery model that was manufactured by a sub-supplier meanwhile is getting exchanged.

With regard to possible risks in the use of the digital photo frame, herewith we inform about the potential safety risk and in the interest of our customers we call back all digital photo frames of the Type “Picasso DVB-T” in exchange against new ones with a flawless battery.
